Why take time off en masse during the same period?
In this opinion piece in De Telegraaf, tourism strategist Isabel Mosk argues for more flexible holiday scheduling. She argues that the current system, in which many people go on holiday at the same time, leads to congested roads, crowded airports and overburdened tourist destinations.
By spreading holidays more evenly, these problems can be reduced and there will be more room for rest and relaxation during the holiday periods.
