Women (aged 45+) in particular prefer to leave their husbands and families behind
The number of solo motorhome travellers is growing rapidly, especially among women aged 45 and older. According to motorhome sharing platform Goboony, 60% of solo motorhome travellers are women, 76% of whom are over 45. These women consciously choose to travel alone in search of freedom, peace and self-development. Isabel Mosk explains why solo travel is becoming increasingly common.
